Years ago I adopted a retired racing greyhound name Hooper from West Virginia. He was a great dog. Very loyal and friendly. Last fall he started to have health issues and despite numerous vet visits, he passed away in November. I wanted to do something in his memory to raise money for Greyhound Rescue, Inc., the charity I adopted him from. My friends at the Annapolis Running Shop agreed to co-sponsor a 5k to raise money for the group.
The first Annapolis Running Shop Run for the Hounds 5k will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Annapolis Running Shop on 172 Main Street Annapolis, MD 21401.

For $25 you will get a t-shirt, beer, and light fare. All profits will go to Greyhound Rescue, Inc.
